Public domain music

This page is currently under construction, I will publish here free music scores with Public Domain music  they mostly will be new well engraved versions of badly scanned scores found in various sites. All music will be in public domain.

The aim is mostly philological, I would like to bring back to life forgotten music that is currently sleeping in main Internet libraries.

PIANO SOLO, PROJECT "BIBLIOTECA D'ORO"

The "Bibblioteca d'oro" (Golden Library) is a massive collection of 700 relatively easy piano pieces, divided in 7 volumes with 100 pieces each. They contain  the most famous pieces known at the time of publishing, from all the world, from all genres: operas, symphonies, etc. Edited and fingered by Alessandro Longo and published by Ricordi. It will take me ages but the goal is to engrave all 700 pieces and publish them here.

I will also publish other random piano pieces.

PIANO + INSTRUMENT

This section will feature mostly Piano and Wind instrument pieces, occasionally there might some string instruments, especially if a piece is adapted. For instance if I arrange a piece for clarinet and piano from a piece that was originally written for violin and piano, the original violin version will be also published.

WIND BAND AND MARCHING BAND

Pieces and marches written for band and adapted for modern instrumentation, and pieces that I will arrange, mostly from the above mentioned "Biblioteca D'oro".

WIND ENSEMBLE

Duets, trios, quartets for wind instruments. 

All scores will be published on Github and the engraving files will be available. 

All pieces will also be published on IMSLP.
